Propertyfinder mobile site review

Propertyfinder home page

The opening page looks smart, although I’m not sure why it has a contact us and about us option in the main menu.

After making your first choice of Buy/Rent you are presented with the usual options for searching, although it doesn’t allow GPS location search on my iPhone.

The search is the biggest thing letting it down and I find it hard to see past the fact that the price bands are so broad

up to 70k –

70 to 300 –

300 to 600 –

600 to 900 –

900k+

As you can imagine, even if you refine other criteria to 3 beds and house type, it still brings far too many results in a price range of 300 to 600 and I can’t see how it can be refined down (If it can be refined then it should be more obvious!).

Propertyfinder property viewClicking on a property expands the view and shows good level of details and photo’s with info on the selling agent allowing you to email or dial from the screen. Photo’s, description, maps and agent contact details are all very good, but it is just impossible to search through such mass of properties in the price bracket and for this reason it seems almost useless as a search engine.

There isn’t much more that I can say about this app other than hopefully propertyfinders new owners Zoopla have something up their sleeves to replace it – I’m told they do!

My Score 0/10
